Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is all about the flowers this year. The feature floral-filled parks including Laurel Bank Park and the Botanic Gardens of Queens Park have garden beds bursting with colour, lush lawns and springtime wonder waiting for you to explore. The Carnival of Flower favourites may be cancelled for this year, however there is still a lot to enjoy at this beautiful time in Toowoomba!

1. Night Garden
As twilight settles in, Queens Park will spring to life with lighting displays that weave through a secluded section of the parkland. Designed as an family-friendly space, the Night Garden features light installations and illuminations of colour! Get your camera ready to capture each installation. Plus don’t miss the pop-up foodie options that will invigorate your taste buds.
This event will ‘brighten’ your night! Don’t miss it!

2. Grand Central Floral Parade… Reimagined
The iconic Grand Central Floral Parade has been reimagined for 2020! This year the Grand Central Floral Parade will be delivered as a static display throughout the Grand Central Shopping Centre.
Come along and see our first ever Grand Central Floral Parade Static Display, featuring stunning floral floats designed and decorated by Toowoomba Businesses and Community Groups. These ‘blooming’ floats will be on display throughout Grand Central Shopping Centre across the Qld School Holidays. 3. Chalk Art in the Park
While in Queens Park you have the opportunity to watch local artists create a showstopping floral masterpiece before your eyes using only chalk!!
This is on every Saturday in September, 10am-2pm! And it’s free!
